I began as the second of five children, the only boy in the group. Primary school were some of the best days of my life so far. Not a care in the world (despite all the fuss of the adults around me) and all the fun to enjoy. San Fernando Boys R.C., how I miss thee.
In between primary and secondary school was an event that changed my life. Until that day, I KNEW that I wanted to be an electrical engineer. I was always intrigued by electricity and frequently took apart any electronic equipment I could get my hand on to get a better view (don't ask me to put it back together though). One of our many disks had Visual Basic on it, and I happened to have magazines with some silly Visual Basic programs in it. So there I am, plugging in all this code into a screen and I ran it and it drew some lines and I sat in amazement. I called everyone to demonstrate my programming skills. Then of course came the hard part, could I write a program myself? All it did was add two numbers and print the result to the screen, but you would swear I just wrote Windows myself. I changed my dream to being a Computer Scientist.
Fast foward acouple years and 1 degree later and my dream has been fulfilled. Microsoft employs me and I'm on the fast track to taking it easy
