Sean,
Right in the midst of your peers,
That tragic Saturday afternoon,
The cold hand of death appears,
And snatches you too soon.

Totally devoid of all cheers,
Wishing this was mere cartoon,
We realize, drenched in tears,
That to death no one is immune.

May you find peaceful recess,
Singing eternal heavenly tunes,
And as for joining you, we say "Yes,
By heavenly time, pretty soon!"

I did not know Sean personally. I only knew of him as the only son of Greta and Fitzroy Jackman - fellow-believers from the Church of Christ the Lord and St Michael Roman Catholic Church, Marabella.  What I remember of Sean when I saw him in Trinidad was his quietness and humility (like the rest of his family).  His many achievements and accomplishments were always things you heard of from someone else who felt proud about such a remarkable young man.  

The terrible loss felt at his passing by mere acquantainces testifies to the impact and quality of his short time here on earth and speaks volumes about his character.  

To his family ... remember, rest in the Lord just as I sure Sean, your angel is resting in the arms of Jesus right now.  Place all hope and trust in God to take you through this dark period and allow Him to make sense of things once more.

I wish to offer my condelences on behalf of my family. I had the privelege of meeting Sean at my son's (Devan) graduation in May 2006. Actually he came especially to support the the Trinis who were graduating and this tells me the kind of guy he was. He was such a pleasnt young man,  always with a smile on his face.  My son respected him very much and talked so highly of him and his accomplishments ,especially as he got the job at Microsoft. Sean I am sure that you would be missed by all your friends. May God bless you and keep you always in His presence. I pray that your family would seek solace in the many prayers and well wishes offered by family members and friends.I also pray that God will give them grace to endure this painful time in their life and lead them to a place of surrender, thanking God for the life of their son who was loved by so many people. Please accept my deepest sympathy, I cannot imagine how great this loss must be to you. I never knew this young man but I found out he was a friend and classmate of my nephew in Naps. When I look at his picture I see the potential of this nation, locked inside his heart, the same as I do when I look at my own nephews. His life was such an example to the troubled youth in this land of ours.

I am so saddened by this loss, it is a loss not only for this family but for our entire nation since it is people like Sean who are the hope for our country.

Hebrews 11:16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

I joined Sean as one of many lucky Microsoft interns in the summer of 2003 and also as a full-timer a year later.  He was always a familiar face because of his charm and character.  He was as feared on the Redmond soccer fields as he was on the virtual playing fields of Halo.  Both as interns and FTEs we were commonly paired up against one another in soccer matches, Sean on defense and myself on offense.  I'll miss his shared love of the game.

My best wishes to the family who raised him so well.  May you doggedly pursue again the same happiness that Sean brought to you. Close

Dear Members of the Family, and Friends,

My heartfelt sympathy to you on the loss of one so cherished in such tragic circumstances.

 It never ceases to faz me how persons who make some of the more meaningful contributions towards enhancing  the quality of our lives are cut off from among us while persons involved in less productive  and often nefarious activities are (as we say in Trinbago)  "hard to dead" to  dismay of their hapless victims. This is one of the inescapable ironies of life. Though I never heard of or met this young man something about his obituary drew me to him even before I had read of his genius.....

Let us thank God that Sean entered our lives, though for a short time... used his intelligence and brilliance for the greater good of mankind  and left an indelible mark on us all.
